Bereits seit 2012 bietet die am Lehrstuhl Verteilte Systeme von Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens B. Schmitt am Fachbereich Informatik der RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau angesiedelte lokale Cisco Networking Academy in Zusammenarbeit mit Cisco Systems, Inc. hochwertige extracurriculare Kurse im Bereich Netzwerke an. Neuerdings kamen auch Kursangebote zur IT-Sicherheit und Künstlichen Intelligenz (KI) hinzu. Ansprechpartner ist Steffen Reithermann, der die Akademie aufgebaut und von Anfang an auch als Kursleiter betreut hat. Overview
Since 2012, the local Cisco Networking Academy, based at the Distributed Systems Chair of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jens B. Schmitt in the Department of Computer Science at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, has been offering high-quality extracurricular courses in the field of networking in cooperation with Cisco Systems, Inc. Recently, courses on IT security and artificial intelligence (AI) have also been added. The contact person is Steffen Reithermann, who established the academy and has also been the course instructor from the very beginning.
